This is an edited version of our interview with Hella Jongerius, featured in full in What I’ve Learned. The Hella Jongerius – Breathing Colour exhibition was ensconced in the borderline between art and design. The design focused on the idea of individuality within serial production by repeating a pattern every three meters, as opposed to the traditional 35 to 70 centimeters.
